Restoration Efforts Continue to the Core of Campus

YMCA Blue Ridge Assembly is thrilled to continue recovery efforts with our sights set on the heart of campus – Abbott Hall, Thrailkill Auditorium in Heaton Hall, and Eureka Hall. The vital work done in these historic buildings supports our mission of developing leaders, strengthening families, and building community. These recovery efforts will ensure we can increase summer housing options with newly restored and functional spaces.

Due to damage from Hurricane Helene and reduced capacity in 2025, over 4,000 people were left at home during summer conferences. It is our goal to ensure each of these people, many of which are teenagers, will be welcomed back to the Mountain.

To impact more lives, we need your ongoing support.

Investing $2 Million in restoration efforts to the core of campus ensures YMCA Blue Ridge Assembly is prepared to serve the 4,000 we plan to welcome back to the Mountain.

$500 x 4,000 people = $2 Million

YMCA Blue Ridge Assembly is always honored to be included in a gift in honor or in memory of someone close to your heart. Our donation page gives the option to include a In Honor or In Memory designation and will include a notification to the person or family member if you wish.

A donor-advised fund (DAF) is a centralized charitable account. It allows individuals, families and businesses to make tax-deductible charitable donations to a public charity. If you already have a DAF, simply request a grant distribution through your DAF sponsor. Be sure to use YMCA Blue Ridge Assembly’s Tax ID# 56-0532130. Then indicate whether your gift is unrestricted or designated to a specific project.

YMCA Blue Ridge Assembly opened at a 40% capacity in June 2025. We still have a tremendous amount of work to do to be fully restored but are delighted to finally say welcome home.
