MOUNTAIN RETREATS

A Mountain Visit that fits your Speed

YMCA Blue Ridge Assembly offers three great options to visit the Blue Ridge Mountains at a pace that fits your needs! It is our mission to provide opportunities to get away from the busyness of life, reconnection with those around you and respite to help strengthen families.

Select the speed that fits you best!

  • Planned self-paced retreats
  • Active program-filled mornings
  • All-inclusive Family Camps

YMCA Blue Ridge Assembly calls Black Mountain home! This charming mountain town is teeming with shops, restaurants, hiking trails, and more for you to explore! You can also expand your adventure by visiting local attractions including hiking trails, the Biltmore Estate, North Carolina Arboretum or book a rafting trip nearby!

The local culinary scene is out of this world! It has been described as a Foodtopiaa whole food culture in motion, shaped by open-fire kitchens, mountain-made craft beer, and makers who forage forests, wander fields, and pull inspiration straight from the soil.

We encourage each guest to plan a weekend perfect for them – on or off the Mountain!

"We were thrilled to return to the Mountain for a weekend stay! Our kids were able to explore the buildings and hiking trails from my memory! It was so fun to share the Mountain with them!" - Mike
