In Memory of Dr. Paul Grist
As a youth at the Selma YMCA, Dr. Grist was a great influence on my life. When I turned 15, he took me to Blue Ridge Leaders School for the first time. I continued to go every year through high school. This experience of Blue Ridge Leaders and Dr. Grist’s influence led me to my career in the YMCA. Blue Ridge has been part of my life since my first experience with Dr. Grist. I will always remember Dr. Paul Grist as a friendly Christian gentleman who nurtured many people and taught them to serve God and others. – Bill McClinton
