Karen DeBlieux is an experienced executive leader in corporate banking and passionate community advocate. She retired as the Capital One Commercial Banking Head of US Corporate Banking and Marketing President in 2025. In her almost 30 years with the firm, she held leadership roles in national accounts, Gulf South banking, financial institutions, and international banking.  

A respected community leader, Karen has volunteered with YMCA of Greater New Orleans, YMCA of the USA, NORD Foundation, New Orleans City Park, Boys Hope Girls Hope, Police and Justice Foundation, Catholic Charities, Stuart Hall School, Jesuit High School and Greater New Orleans Foundation’s Impact 100. She is also a previous head of the Racial Equity task force of Business Council of New Orleans, LSU Real Estate Facilities Foundation and YMCA of the USA Member Standards Board Committee.  

Karen first came to YMCA Blue Ridge Assembly in 1972 as a teen attending YMCA Blue Ridge Leaders’ School. Karen returned to the School in 1988 as a volunteer staff member teaching leadership development courses. She continues to be a devoted volunteer impacting teens from across the southeast!
