In 1906 a visionary leader named Willis Weatherford founded YMCA Blue Ridge. More than 100 years later, we celebrate another milestone as we inaugurate a new generation of community leaders as members of the Green Rocker Society. These generous supporters commit to making YMCA Blue Ridge a philanthropic priority that ensures those programs are open to all, and our role in preparing the next generation of leaders.
A giving society where donors make a three year commitment of at least $1,000 per year to the YMCA Blue Ridge Annual Campaign.
While general membership is open at any time, charter membership is limited to 2017. Green Rocker Society founding members will also have their names permanently displayed on a plaque in the Blue Ridge Center that accompanies the original Green Rocker water color painting.
The Green Rocker Society Your multi-year commitment helps us:
Green Rocker Society membership allows you to give to any Blue Ridge program you are passionate about! Simply name the program you want to give to on the Green Rocker pledge card, and we will ensure your gift is directed towards impacting that program and its participants.
We believe that no deserving child, teen or family should be turned away because of financial need. Your support makes that possible.
In joining the Green Rocker Society, not only do you become part of an exclusive group of committed supporters, you also help us transform lives by creating opportunities for people of all ages to learn, grow and thrive.
